Procrastination Equals A New Doily

The hexagon throw I recently blogged about is nearly finished.
Nearly...
I have to make all the half hexagons now - to get an even border.
Which I find more of a hassle than crocheting the hexagons.
A good excuse to make another doily...

    1. Thanks! For the white&green doily I slightly adapted this potholder pattern: http://www.bestfreecrochet.com/2010/11/21/vintage-daisy-potholder-free-crochet-pattern/
      I just omitted the last round and used a much thicker yarn (and probably a 4 or 4.5 mm hook). Good luck!

  9. I understand perfectly what you say about hexagons...love them, but hate the half-motifs and awkward spaces. I made up an alternative on "how to fill the gap in the hexagon blankets" that you might want to check out at my old blog (Lanas & Hilos, now "Lanas de Ana": http://arteenhilo.blogspot.com/2012/01/fill-gap-in-hex.html

    2. Dank je wel! Ik heb Rio Katoen gebruikt, nummer 710. Ik ben er ook blij mee, het is wel roze, maar niet té, eerder een beetje poederig, oudroze...
      (Even opnieuw gepost, ik had net per ongeluk een verkeerd katoenmerk genoemd.)
